Developmental Edit
You have a completed manuscript and you have read it through at least once, now what? A developmental edit of your work ensures there are no plot holes, that the characters have an arc (or in series, the semblance of their arc), and that there is a clear beginning, middle, and end.
This edit also includes suggestions on how to correct any plot holes, weak character arcs, missing or weak tropes, and a list of crutch words (we all have them). If there are obvious grammar issues, these will be pointed out for your future consideration.

The Critique Partner
By far the most popular service, the critique partner offers you all of the benefits of a developmental edit, a stylistic edit, and suggested line editing.
Plot holes will be revealed and suggested fixes offered. Weak characters will be strengthened. Prose will be polished, and I will include highlighted sections that will resonate with most readers for your social media campaigns.
Included with this package are 2 brainstorming sessions. These are 15-minute sessions, offered via Zoom or over a mutually agreed-upon messaging service (i.e. Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.). I am open to email communications as well.

Manuscript Assessment
You’ve finished the manuscript, you have edited it, and maybe even asked your bestie to give it a read. Now what?
Consider a manuscript assessment. It’s similar to a beta reader, only an editor’s eyes go over it. I’ll point out any weak points, what’s working, and what isn’t based on industry trends and reader demands.
Beyond that, I will offer suggestions for improvement, and point out crutch words and any tired clichés (and most of them are tired).
